OpSource applies manufacturing science results, dynamic response and vibration theories, and advanced information technology methods to the manufacture of machined parts. OpSource applies a systematic, standardized approach to setup, virtually eliminating complex fixtures required to hold the plate stock.  By measuring and analyzing the dynamic response of the machine tool and cutter, OpSource calculates the operating parameters for optimal material removal.  OpSource has also identified and stored the optimal cutting path and sequence of cuts used to produce certain common part features.  As a result, OpSource virtually eliminates the iterative process and resulting scrap material usually associated with the first part in an order and quality issues such as chatter that add further rework or finishing costs post-production.  The combination of these technologies provides a repeatable, scalable process that enables OpSource to make complex parts correctly the first time.
